Microfinish for all shaft typesThe CenterStar microfinishing machine enables the precise machining of a wide range of shaft types and sizes, such as camshafts or lead screws. It supports the processing of various materials such as all types of steel, cast iron, carbide and ceramics. Integration of various processes such as stone finishing, belt finishing, CAB and flat finishing as well as brush deburring is possible. The machine can hold workpieces between centers or in the chuck. Depending on the design, the machine can improve the geometry by stone finishing or achieve the tightest surface tolerances using band tools.
