Highly precise and flexibleThe Sphero is the microfinishing machine for finishing spherical parts. By machining on the Sphero, you not only achieve an optimum surface, but also a perfect shape when machining balls.
Thanks to the workpiece spindle that can be swiveled up to 90° and the force-controlled tool spindle, the workpieces are machined with maximum process reliability. Ultra-fine machining of the surfaces of ceramic or metallic parts minimizes surface roughness and improves their geometry at the same time. This ensures a better fit, e.g. of ball joints, as well as a reduction in friction and wear.

SpheroStar
Based on the high-precision Sphero machine tool, Thielenhaus Microfinish has now developed a highly efficient two-step solution that carries out the entire ultra-fine machining process of spherical workpieces in short cycle times. The design of the new SpheroStar is also based on the MicroStar and NanoStar platforms and, like these, is equipped with a rotary table. This enables a minimum cycle time and maximum output for your spherical workpieces.
