Thielenhaus Technologies

Technical excellence since 1909

World market leader through innovation and precision

Since 1909, Thielenhaus Technologies has stood for top performance in the precision machine tool industry. Our Microfinish technology has revolutionized surface finishing by enabling accuracies of up to one ten-thousandth of a millimetre. This precision, coupled with our expertise in noise reduction and miniaturization, makes our machines indispensable in industries such as automotive, aerospace and medical technology.

Innovation in the service of people

Thielenhaus Technologies is convinced that technical innovations must ultimately serve people. Our machines for ultra-fine surface processing address both the technical and social challenges of our time. With over 100 years of experience in the development of pioneering machines, we set standards for precision and performance to meet the technical challenges of today and tomorrow.

Our contribution to the moon landing in 1969

A notable milestone was our contribution to the moon landing on July 20, 1969, observed by over 500 million people worldwide. Our Microfinish machines played a key role in the production of the miniature bearings for the lunar module’s gyro navigation, which enabled a precise landing.
