Our contribution to the moon landing in 1969
A notable milestone was our contribution to the moon landing on July 20, 1969, observed by over 500 million people worldwide. Our Microfinish machines played a key role in the production of the miniature bearings for the lunar module’s gyro navigation, which enabled a precise landing.
Our global management

Thielenhaus Technologies
Dr. Christof Traidl manages all activities relating to Thielenhaus and Koellmann Gear worldwide. His extensive experience comes from founding and managing several companies in the manufacturing, finance, logistics and real estate sectors, as well as from senior management positions at Daimler, Penske, Magna Powertrain and Neapco Europe.
Dirk von Felbert coordinates the financial interests of the Thielenhaus Group worldwide in order to strengthen, utilize and expand the Group’s potential.

Andreas Jansen is a certified mechanical engineer with almost 20 years of experience in various management positions in design engineering and project management. Under his competent and passionate leadership, he successfully implemented Simultaneous Engineering Centers. As a key person in the development of the Thielenhaus Group’s global product line management, he was appointed COO of Thielenhaus’ mechanical engineering business in Europe at the end of 2024.
Sebastian Tuchan combines many years of technical experience with strategic vision. With extensive expertise in the optimization of machine processes and a hands-on management approach, he ensures efficient processes, drives innovation and builds sustainable partnerships. His focus: top quality, excellent service and continuous development.
